Wedding Cake Showcases Across Lancashire | Preston & Surrounding Areas

Updated: Jan 19

As a Lancashire wedding cake designer, one of the most exciting parts of my year is getting out and about to wedding venues across Preston and the surrounding areas, meeting couples face to face and showcasing my cakes in beautiful settings.

Where you will find me this year

I’m starting the year strong with some of Lancashire’s most established and much loved wedding venues. I’m delighted to be showcasing at Bartle Hall and Beeston Manor, both of which have been hosting unforgettable weddings for many years and I’m also their recommended wedding cake supplier, and have been for over 12 years.

These venues are true Lancashire favourites and offer timeless elegance, impeccable service and a wonderful atmosphere for couples and suppliers alike.

The Bartle Hall Estate is the only wedding venue to offer both a Country House and Coaching Barn in one location, set in 16 acres of private woodland. Each wedding is exclusive use, allowing each couple & their guests a diverse choice of areas for all elements of your wedding day.

Make sure you register for their late January showcase to meet their trusted suppliers and take away your goody bag full of info.

Beeston Manor was also restored by the Bickerstaffe family, showcasing original oak beams and locally quarried pink sandstone. Their story creates a truly unique atmosphere for your event.

This multi-award-winning, family-run exclusive venue is set in 140 acres of countryside in Hoghton, Lancashire. With over 15 years of experience hosting weddings, baby showers, birthdays, christenings, conferences, and more, they offer a beautiful and exclusive setting for all your special occasions. They even have a heli pad..!

You will also find us at Eaves Hall in Clitheroe,

Eaves is such a beautiful venue, it’s a picture-perfect Georgian mansion surrounded by manicured grounds, offering an unforgettable backdrop for weddings.

Originally built as an exceptional private residence at an eye watering cost, before becoming a private members club, Eaves Hall has always been exclusive. Now, restored and refurbished with celebrations in mind Eaves Hall can be exclusively yours.

So join us late January and view the beauty for yourself. Keep an eye on our stories.

As the season progresses into spring, I’ll also be joining additional venues across Lancashire, Preston, Lancaster and Blackpool, including luxury hotels, countryside barns and coastal locations.

We will also be with the super team over at The Locks Venue at Pyes Mill Hotel Lancaster.

This venue is a beautifully restored canal-side wedding venue in Lancashire, offering exclusive-use spaces, luxury accommodation and a dedicated team with more than 30 years of combined wedding and event experience.

Set alongside the tranquil Lancaster Canal, the venue blends modern elegance with historic character, creating a serene and timeless backdrop for weddings of every style. And guys, the food here is amazing. Honestly the canapés are divine!

You can find me with the superb events team at Mytton Fold in March.

Located in the heart of the Ribble valley, Mytton Fold Hotel is a wedding venue for all seasons and styles, with plush accommodation onsite for your guests. The Abbey and Ribble suites offer the most elegant settings, and are completely versatile when it comes to your 'I Do'.

One confirmed new stop is Park Hotel Blackpool, nestled away on the Blackpool seafront, Pavilion on the Prom is the perfect setting for your wedding by the sea. And let’s face it the fish & chips and yummy sugar donuts are a win win!

👉 Keep an eye on our Instagram, where stories are updated often with new showcase dates, venue locations, behind-the-scenes setup, and plenty of cake close ups.

Where I won’t be (and why that’s okay)

Although I work with many recommended wedding venues across Lancashire, I can’t be in every place in person..after all, there’s only one Lisa Marie! Although my lovely mama is an expert too and often attends the fairs on occasion with me too.

That said, some of my wedding cakes will still be on display in situ at venues even when I’m not physically attending a showcase, and you can often find me on the recommended supplier list with some superb fellow supplier friends.

The styled venue displays are a fantastic way to:

  • See the venue fully dressed for a wedding

  • Visualise how a bespoke wedding cake fits into the space

  • Discover trusted, preferred suppliers the venue works with too, enjoying the views, hand crafted canapés and more

Why wedding showcases matter

From a couple’s point of view, wedding showcases are relaxed, informal and incredibly helpful. You can wander at your own pace, ask questions without pressure and start to build a picture of your perfect day. Don’t be shy, at first you may feel a little overwhelmed but professional suppliers will always make you feel at ease and if they are too much then you know they are not for you.

It’s a great way to get a feel for supplier you may want to work with and view a potential wedding venue too.

From my point of view?

They’re brilliant because you get to try my cake and that part is so important. My cakes are all home-baked, utterly delicious and designed to look just as good as they taste. Flavour matters just as much as design and tasting really does make all the difference. We also have the chance to have a little chat too. I’ve met some wonderful couples this way over the years. So I highly recommend them.

Searching for your perfect Lancashire wedding venue?

Whether you already have a favourite venue in mind or you’re still exploring what Lancashire has to offer, wedding showcases are a wonderful opportunity to see a range of superb venues, each offering something slightly different. And to find the one that feels truly you.

They all offer different elements to suit.

If you see me at a showcase, please do come over and say hello. I’d love to chat about your plans, your venue and your dream wedding cake.

January to March is always an incredibly busy (and exciting!) time in our wedding world and I’m so looking forward to meeting lots of newly engaged couples over the coming months.

See you at the showcases soon. 💛
