Wedding planning can sometimes feel like an endless list of decisions, appointments and things to organise.
With constant influences on Instagram trends and Pinterest boards it can feel slightly overwhelming. Your wedding cake appointment shouldn’t feel like another job on that list.
At Lisa Marie Cakes, I wanted to create something a little different: a relaxed, personal bridal studio experience where you can step away from the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, enjoy some cake together and simply talk about your wedding.

Based here in Lancashire, my bridal studio is where so many of my couples’ wedding cakes begin.
Your consultation is completely complimentary and gives us time to sit down together, talk about your wedding plans, look through your inspiration and start discovering what your cake could become. With cake to see and understand portions and sizing too.
And please don’t worry if you arrive saying:
“We honestly have no idea what we want!”
That’s absolutely fine.
You don’t need to understand cake sizes, know what style you want or arrive with a perfectly curated Pinterest board. That’s my job.
I’ve been designing wedding cakes since 2013, and been baking way before that. Over the years I’ve worked with hundreds of couples, venues and completely different wedding styles.
I’ll guide you through ithe process from start to
finish.
And yes… there will be cake!

You’ll have the opportunity to taste Lisa Marie Cakes flavours while we chat through your wedding.
We can discuss the flavours you love, approximately how many guests you’re catering for and whether your cake will be served as part of the wedding day or enjoyed later in the evening.
From there, we can start bringing everything together.
Your wedding, translated into cake.
I don’t work from a catalogue of fixed wedding cakes. Your cake should feel like it belongs at your wedding.
That might mean taking inspiration from your flowers, stationery, dress, venue, colour palette, textures or simply the overall atmosphere you want to create.
During your bridal consultation I’ll sketch ideas for you, helping you visualise different possibilities and understand what will work beautifully for your day.
Sometimes couples arrive with a very clear idea.
Sometimes we create something completely different during the appointment.
Both are part of the fun.
A little time to enjoy wedding planning together.
This is probably the part of the experience that matters most to me.
Your consultation isn’t designed to feel like a sales meeting.
It’s an opportunity to sit together, eat cake, talk about your wedding and enjoy being engaged.
For many couples, it’s one of those lovely little wedding planning moments where everything starts to feel real.
And if you’re naturally a little shy about appointments or you’re nervous because you’ve never visited a wedding supplier before, please don’t be.
You’ll be welcomed into the studio, we’ll have a chat, and I’ll guide you through everything from there.

From intimate celebrations to large weddings, I create bespoke wedding cakes for couples marrying throughout Lancashire, the Ribble Valley, Cheshire and across the North West.
Over the years my cakes have travelled to some incredible venues, including Mitton Hall, Wyresdale Park, Bartle Hall, Beeston Manor, Eaves Hall, The River Barn, Wennington Hall and many more.
