I've had the pleasure of working alongside Bartle Hall Hotel since 2013 and their events team are simply superb!

You will always find our display wedding cakes in place on styled viewing days, and couples are welcome to our private bridal showroom to view our cakes & bring their ideas to life.

​

Bartle Hall has some gorgeous features, my favourites are the coaching barn. This is where I set up the wedding cakes. It has a stunning entrance, a great spot for photographs. The coaching barn space is light and airy, and it also looks very magical during the festive months. I personally adore the Christmas trees all lined up upon the entrance.

 

And the outdoor garden space is lovely, the weddings on the lawn are perfect. Bertie has the best cocktails! (You all know I adore an espresso martini!) And to top things off they even have an outdoor kitchen, for guests to enjoy in the evenings.

I’ve worked with Beeston Manor from the very beginning. They were one of the very first wedding venues to recommend me, so it’s incredibly special that all these years later, we’re still working together.

 

Set in beautiful Lancashire countryside, Beeston is family run. John, Janet and Amy are always so present, and you can really see how much heart and care goes into every wedding. Their long standing team is a huge part of that too.

​

The Meadows is one of my favourite parts of the venue. Every detail has been carefully thought through, with so much of it handcrafted by John Bickerstaffe himself.

The food and canapés are always delicious, and the accommodation feels beautifully modern while still keeping that elegant country house charm.

Beeston even has its own helicopter, and believe me, it’s absolutely worth a ride!

Eaves Hall is set within the beautiful Ribble Valley and is one of the stunning James’ Places venues.

This beautiful Georgian mansion always feels so special from the moment you arrive.

​

One of my favourite things about Eaves is the journey up the driveway, it really is breathtaking, much like its sister venue, Wennington Hall. The events team are always wonderful to work with, and inside Eaves, the rooms feel incredibly warm and inviting, opening up into almost secret little spaces throughout the house.

 

I especially love the bridal room balcony, lanterns glowing within the georgian windows, and in winter the log fires make it feel even more inviting. Eaves always looks show stopping, whatever the season.

And the bridal room makes you feel a little bit like royalty.

Northcote is always an absolute pleasure.

The attention to detail, beautiful surroundings and exceptional level of service make every wedding here feel incredibly special.

​

I’ve had the pleasure of creating and setting up wedding cakes at Northcote over the years, and one particular highlight will always be having Lisa Goodwin-Allen compliment my cakes, praise from a Michelin starred chef is something I’ll certainly never forget.

​

My favourite things about Northcote have to be the service, the attention to detail and the overall aesthetic. Everything feels considered, elegant and beautifully put together, and setting up a wedding cake within Northcote is always such a beautiful process.

I’d much rather be drinking Louis Roederer… if you know, you know!

Mytton Fold is set within the stunning Ribble Valley, with an excellent team we have really enjoyed working with them over the years.

​

The ceremony space is beautiful, the Abbey & Ribble  suites are large, beautiful spaces to enjoy.

There is also a pretty garden space to embrace.  Perfect for wedding photographs. The Jules restaurant offers delicious food too, so you can assure your wedding breakfast will be delightful.

Working alongside The Inn on the Lake is an honour.

Set in one of the most remarkable locations, the views across Ullswater really are unforgettable and make this such a special place to celebrate a wedding.

​

The long standing events team are wonderful to work with and the service is always exceptional. One of my favourite things about the Inn has to be the setting itself. When the wedding cake is set up within the breakfast room, the lake creates the most beautiful backdrop. It really couldn’t be more picturesque. I have seen no prettier view.

​

The food is always delicious, and couples can even incorporate a steamer lake experience into their wedding itinerary for guests.

Or simply sit on the terrace watching the world go by on the lake.

Crow Wood Hotel & Spa is located in Burnley, Lancashire.

​​

They have lots of packages to choose from, including twilight & multicultural options. The venue space is contemporary, stylish and airy, with stunning views from the windows. There is plenty of accommodation for the guests too.

The woodland spa attached is divine, and certainly worth a pamper day. I love to take a recharge here.
