We’ve Done It Again, TWIA 2027 Finalists!

Well, this certainly calls for a celebratory coffee!

I’m absolutely delighted to share that we have been announced as Regional Finalists in The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) 2027 for North West Wedding Cake Designer.

And what makes this recognition even more special is where it all began…

Earlier this year, I had the absolute pleasure of creating a wonderfully contemporary wedding cake for Luke and Lloyd, who celebrated their beautiful wedding in May. Such a fabulous couple, with an incredible vision for their day, and a cake that I absolutely adored bringing to life.

It was Luke and Lloyd who so kindly nominated me for The Wedding Industry Awards, and from there, we entered the awards and invited our eligible wedding couples to share their experiences and vote.

To know that our couples have taken the time to support us, share their feedback and be part of this journey genuinely means the world.

Why TWIA Means So Much..

Unlike awards based simply on accumulating public votes, TWIA is built around genuine feedback from couples who have recently married, combined with the expertise of an independent panel of respected wedding industry professionals.

Each year, the voting eligibility is refreshed, meaning the feedback comes from couples whose weddings have taken place within that year’s qualifying period. The scores, written feedback and judging profiles are then considered as part of a thorough assessment process.

And that, to me, is what makes these awards so special. Knowing that your work, your service, your creativity and the experience you provide are being recognised by both your couples and professionals within the industry is incredibly rewarding.

I have enormous admiration for the expert judging panel. In fact, I would absolutely love the opportunity to become a TWIA judge myself one day!

A Third Year Worth Celebrating.

Over the past two years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to reach the finals and receive Highly Commended recognition on both occasions.

To now receive our finalist badge for 2027 feels especially wonderful.

I’m always looking at ways to grow creatively, refine what we offer and push myself that little bit further. Each wedding brings new ideas, new challenges and opportunities to create something truly individual.

So to receive this recognition again is a lovely reminder of why I love what I do.

Celebrating the People Behind the Beautiful Weddings.

Of course, one of my favourite things about TWIA is the opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary talent within our wedding industry.

Behind every beautifully executed wedding is a whole team of dedicated professionals, often working tirelessly behind the scenes, bringing together countless little details to create something unforgettable.

From planners and photographers to florists, venues, stylists, cake designers and so many more, there is an incredible amount of passion, skill and dedication involved.

And that deserves celebrating!

There is something so wonderful about being in a room filled with people who genuinely love what they do, applauding one another, cheering each other on and recognising the hard work that goes into making wedding dreams a reality.

A huge congratulations to every single finalist, and especially to the wonderfully talented cake designers sharing our category. It’s a privilege to be amongst you.

And finally, to Luke and Lloyd, and to every one of our couples who voted, supported and believed in us, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
