Wow… what a night! On Tuesday evening at the stunning Heaton House Farm, I had the absolute honour of attending The Wedding Industry Awards. Surrounded by so many talented and inspiring people from across the North West wedding community. The room was filled with love, laughter and the most incredible energy as we all came together to celebrate creativity and passion within our industry.
TWIA always bring so much energy and positive energy and I adore that. There is no room for dull energy right?!
And I’m beyond excited to share some wonderful news…
“I’m officially the 2026 North West Highly Commended Wedding Cake Designer! 🩷”
After being lucky enough to win the same title in 2025, taking home this year’s award too feels absolutely amazing. To be recognised two years in a row for something I love so deeply truly means the world.
When I started this journey, my goal was simple: to create beautiful, meaningful wedding cakes that capture each couple’s unique story and style. Every single design I create is made with love, from the first consultation in my bridal studio to the moment the cake is delivered and admired on the big day.
The little things really mean a lot to me.

To all of my incredible couples who’ve stepped through my studio doors..thank you. You’re the reason I get to do what I love every single day. Your trust allows me to bring your ideas to life, and the kindness you show afterwards, when you take the time to share your thoughts and experiences, genuinely means so much.
Being a small part of your special day is the greatest privilege, and I never take it for granted. 💖
Gratitude to My Wedding Family
I also want to say a huge thank you to the incredible professionals and venues I have the pleasure of working with. Collaborating with such passionate, creative people makes this job so rewarding, your continued support never goes unnoticed.
And of course, my wonderful family. My amazing husband Neal, my beautiful girls and my fantastic mum..who so many of you have met when visiting the studio. Your love and support are priceless. You’re the backbone of everything I do, and I couldn’t do it without you. 🫶
What’s Next?
I’m still waiting for the professional photos from the evening (and yes there may be one of me running down the aisle high-fiving people! 😅). I can’t wait to share those moments soon.
For now, I just want to say how proud, grateful, and absolutely inspired I feel. To be recognised again among such incredible talent is a true honour and it fuels me to keep pushing creative boundaries, creating cakes that not only look beautiful but tell a story too.
