A Gorgeous Stanley House Wedding for Two Brides 🩷🩷

Some weddings just stay with you, and Hannah and Bex had a beautiful celebration at Stanley House in Mellor, Lancashire.

Their wedding cake was a stunning three tier design, each tier with its own flavour chosen to please a crowd (and trust me, they were good choices!)

We used edible flowers to add a soft, romantic finish, and one of the most personal touches of all: sugar models of their beloved pets. Handcrafted and completely edible, they sat proudly on the cake and were such a lovely way to bring a bit of home into their day.

As Mrs & Mrs, Hannah and Bexs brought so much love and thoughtfulness into their celebration, and it was a real honour to be a part of that. I always feel incredibly grateful when couples trust me with something as meaningful as their wedding cake, and seeing it all come together on the day is the best feeling.

“Lisa made our wedding cake, and what an understatement that sounds. This talented artists curated the most beautiful cake I imagined, incorporating our pets as requested and style we wanted. All from a few sketches and chats we’d had, she was amazing. The cake itself tasted beautiful, light & fluffy, moreish and moist. The icing was flavoursome and light. We opted for a non-traditional square cake with a minimalist design showing some edible flowers and our pets all made by hand from Lisa. Nothing ever felt too much.” Hannah

What made it even more special was receiving their wedding photographs directly in my inbox. It means the world when couples take the time to send me pictures from their big day. To see the cake in place, surrounded by love, joy and all the carefully planned details is such a reminder of why I do what I do.

Wedding planning can feel like a whirlwind when choosing styles, flavours and fine elements fur my couples but when they finally see it all pulled together, it’s magic. And when I get to see that magic captured in photographs, it really brings everything full circle.
